When you connect AC power, the TAD automatically checks for an outgoing
announcement on the MC-20 tape.  If there is no announcement, the TAD beeps
and the display flashes until you record an announcement.  See "Recording" 
Faxback Doc. # 6370.

If there is an announcement, the TAD rewinds the tape to the beginning.
