INSTALLING/REPLACING THE BATTERY

The walkie-talkie uses a standard 9-volt battery for operation.  For the
longest life, we recommend you use an alkaline battery such as Radio Shack
Cat. No. 23-553.

Note:  When the BATTERY LOW indicator lights, replace the battery.

Follow these steps to install the battery.

1.  Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it in the direction
    of the arrow.

2.  If necessary, remove the old battery and dispose of it properly.

3.  Install the new battery by snapping the battery connector onto the
    battery terminal.

4.  Replace the battery compartment cover.

INSTALLING THE BELT CLIP

The walkie-talkie comes with a belt clip.  To install the clip, slide the
clip into the slot on the back of the transceiver until it locks into
place.

To remove the belt clip, lift up on the locking tab and slide the clip
out.
