The Optimus AM/FM Stereo Car Cassette Player has many practical, easy
to-use features, and you can install it in almost any vehicle.  The
tuner's digital synthesized PLL circuitry gives you precise tuning and
drift-free reception.

Balance, tone, fader, and volume controls let you adjust the sound for
maximum listening pleasure.

Your stereo contains many features that let you operate it easily so
you can drive safely.  The auto-reverse cassette deck, memory tuning,
seek and scan tuning, and the FM optimizer circuiltry all help make your
stereo's operation nearly hands-free.

Caution:  Use common sense.  Do not change your stereo's operation
in heavy traffic or during hazardous driving conditions.

Its many useful features include:

Locking Fast-Forward/Reverse - lets you quickly move the tape to either
the beginning or the end without holding either button.

Continuous Auto-Reverse - allows continuous play of both sides of a
cassette tape.

Advanced FM Optimizer Circuiltry - automatically adjusts the tuner's
stereo separation and high-frequency response to give you the best
possible sound, regardless of the signal level.

Push Band Selector - lets you easily select AM or FM stations with
the push of a button.

Adjustable Shaft Spacing - fits virtually all shaft type installations.

Lighted LCD Display with Clock - lets you easily see the clock/radio/
cassette deck function selections.

Stereo/Meno Control - lets you select FM reception in the stereo on
strong stations or as monaural on weak stations.

Manual/Automatic Memory Programming - lets you manually or automatically
store 12 AM and 18 FM stations into memory so you can quickly tune
to any of the 30 stored stations with the touch of a button.

Automatic Memory Scan - scans all stations stored in memory, stopping
for several seconds on each station.

Scan Tuning - scans forward on the selected band, stopping for several
seconds on each station.

Seek Tuning - searches forward to the next strong station in the selected
band.

Automatic Seek and Scan Sensitivity - adjusts your stereo so the first
time it searches a band it stops only on strong local stations.  If it
does not find any strong stations then it searches again, this time
stopping on weaker, distant stations.

Built-in Noise-Suppression Choke - reduces the noise caused by your
vehicle's electrical system.
