Do not store the racer or transmitter in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Do not leave the racer or transmitter outside overnight. Night dampness can damage their electronic circuits. Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type. Always remove old or weak batteries. They can leak chemicals that destroy electronic circuits. Turn off the racer and transmitter when you finish to conserve battery power. Modifying or tampering with the racer's or the transmitter's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate the warranty and void your FCC authorization to operate the racer. If the racer does not work properly, take it to the local Radio Shack store for assistance. THE FCC WANTS YOU TO KNOW The racer might cause TV or radio interference even when it is operating properly. To determine whether the racer is causing the interference, turn off the racer. If the interference goes away, the racer is causing the interference. Try to eliminate the interference by: Moving the racer away from the receiver. Contacting the local Radio Shack store for help.
