Connect the reverb's LINE OUT jack to the line input or auxiliary input of your receiver/amplifier or PA amplifier. Use shielded audio cables with RCA-type plugs. These are available at your local Radio Shack store. You can use LINE IN and MIC IN separately or together. For example, you can announce through the microphone input while playing recorded music through the line input. You can record from LINE OUT while using MIC OUT live. The DELAY, REPEAT, and DEPTH controls affect both the MIC OUT and LINE OUT signals. The MICROPHONE control adjusts the microphone signal level in relation to the line signal level.
