USING THE DOCUMENT SEPARATOR FEATURE

You can set the selector to signal you when it detects the end of each
document. This is a helpful feature to use when two computers are sending
several multi page documents to a printer. To use this feature, INPUT must
be set to AUTO.

The DOCUMENT SEPARATOR switch has three positions:  FORM FEED, OFF, and
BELL.

Set DOCUMENT SEPARATOR to FORM FEED if you want a blank page inserted
between documents. The selector signals your printer to  add a blank
page before printing each document.

Set DOCUMENT SEPARATOR to OFF if you do not want to use the document
separator feature.

Set DOCUMENT SEPARATOR to BELL if you want you printer to sound a tone when
it senses the end of each document.

NOTE: When DOCUMENT SEPARATOR is set to BELL, you printer does not pause
      between documents. To stop printing at any time, set your printer
      off line after the tone.

      The actual sound your printer makes will vary.

      Some printers do not produce a tone.
