The Radio Shack TRC-463 40-Channel Road Emergency 2-Way CD Radio gives you
security and peace of mind anytime your are on the road.

The TRC-463 is simple to set up and use.  Everything you need fits in the
sturdy carrying case, and you can power the unit from almost any vehicles
cigarette lighter socket.  In a matter of seconds, you are ready to report
accidents or ask for information about traffic conditions.

The TRC-463 has a 40-Channel PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) tuner that uses a
single crystal to synthesize all CB frequencies.  This assures reliable,
accurate tuning.

The CB also includes these features:

MAGNETIC-MOUNT, TELESCOPING ANTENNA:  Easily attaches to the vehicle's
                                      metal roof or fender.

DC POWER ADAPTER:  Powers the CB from the vehicle's cigarette lighter
                   socket, so you can use your CB anytime you are on
                   the road.

EMERGENCY CHANNEL 9 SWITCH:  Lets one quickly switch to Channel 9 to
                             report emergency situations.

TWO CERAMIC FILTERS:  Gives the CB superior selectivity and freedom
                      from adjacent channel interference.

AUTOMATIC NOISE LIMITING (ANL) CIRCUIT:  Reduces noise caused by nearby
                                         electrical equipment such as
                                         motors or automotive ignition
                                         systems.

AUTOMATIC MODULATION CONTROL:  Automatically adjusts the transmit level

STURDY CARRYING CASE:  Stores everything you need to power your CB from
                       the vehicle.

Before you use the CB, read manual carefully.

For your permanent records, we urge to record the CB/s serial number in
records.  The serial number is marked on the back panel of the CB.
