BATTERY INSTALLATION

The headset requires two AAA batteries, such as Radio Shack
(Cat. No. 23-555).  Follow these steps to install the batteries.

1.  Press the battery compartment cover and slide it in the direction of
    the arrow.

2.  Install two AAA batteries, as indicated by the polarity symbols (+/-)
    marked inside the compartment.

3.  Replace the cover.

NOTES:

A:  Replace the batteries when BATTERY appears on the display.

B:  Replace both batteries at the same time.

C:  If the headset is not going to be used for a week or more, remove the
    batteries to avoid possible damage from leaking batteries.

LISTENING SAFELY

To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines when using the headset.

1.  Set the volume to the lowest setting before beginning to listen.
    After listening, adjust the volume to a comfortable level.

2.  Do not listen at extremely high volume levels.  Extended high-volume
    listening can lead to permanent hearing loss.

3.  Once the volume is set, do not increase it.  Overtime, ones ears will
    adapt to the volume level.  A volume level that does not cause
    discomfort might still damage hearing if set to loudly.
