INSTALLING/REPLACING THE BATTERY

Your headset radio uses an AA battery (not supplied).  We recommend an
alkaline battery (Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552/557) for longest life.
Follow these steps to install or replace the battery.

1.  Press down the tab on the battery compartment cover and slide it in
    the direction of the arrow.

2.  Insert one AA battery inside the compartment as indicated by the
    polarity symbols ( + and - ) marked beside the compartment.

3.  Replace the cover.

NOTES:  If you do not plan to use the radio for several days, remove the
        battery.

        Replace the battery when the radio's sound weakens.
