The LCD Talking Watch uses one CR2025 (Cat. No. 23-161) lithium battery.
If the LCD screen fades, the sound weakens, or any function is abnormal,
change the battery.

Warning:  The battery might explode it misused.  Do not recharge or
          disassemble the battery or dispose of it in fire.

          Keep this battery away from children.  If swallowed a battery
          could be harmful and even fatal.

1.  Loosen the four screws on the back cover and remove it.

2.  Remove the small metal clip and the old battery.

         Use only a fresh battery of the recommended size and type.
         Always remove an old or weak battery.  It can leak chemicals that
         damage electronics circuits.

Modifying or tampering with the watch's internal components can cause a
malfunction and might invalidate its warranty.  If you watch is not
performing as it should, take it to your local Radio Shack store for
assistance.
