Video Stabilizer (150-1270) Features Faxback Doc. # 7250 The ARCHER Video Enhancer/Stabilizer (VES) was developed by Radio Shack to improve the overall performance of your home video system. It may be used to improve the playback from a VCR or video disc player. It may also be used to enhance recordings made from one VCR to another or direct camera-to-VCR recordings. Stabilizer - eliminates the shaky picture you sometimes get when recording from a previously recorded tape. Enhancer - restores picture detail lost during recording. This is especially useful for third generation tapes (copies made from copies) or tapes made at slower recording speeds. VNR (Video Noise Reduction) - reduces video noise ("snow" or graininess in the picture). Automatic Fade - fades out picture and sound simultaneously at the end of a recording. Or fades in picture and sound at the beginning of a recording - just like the professionals. Audio Level Control - controls the audio signal level from the TV VHF connector. This lets you match the audio level to your TV set. TV VHF Connector - provides access to an internal RF modulator that converts the low frequency audio/video signals used in VCRs, video cameras, and video disc players to channel 3 or 4 on your TV. Connect your TV to this connector to monitor these signals during recording or playback. Dual Audio/Video Input Jacks - allow connection of two input sources (VCR), video disc player, or video camera) Dual Audio/Video Output Jacks - allow you to record onto two VCRs from a single VCR or camera. A/B Switch - sends the signals from one pair of audio/video input jacks to both pairs of audio/video output jacks and to the TV VHF jack. Channel Switch - selects channel (3 or 4) for monitoring on your TV (from the TV VHF connector). Please read the owner's manual carefully. It has been prepared to assist you during the initial set-up procedure and to guide you in everyday operation of the Video Enhancer/Stabilizer.
