Video Stabilizer (150-1270) Preparation for Use Faxback Doc. # 7253 If you are unsure about your connections, draw a diagram of your system and take it to your local Radio Shack for advise. To realize the maximum benefit from your Video Enhancer/Stabilizer, your TV must be in good working condition with the controls set for a normal color picture. The other components of the video system must also be working properly. This unit will not compensate for defects in the other video equipment. CHANNEL Switch Setting The Enhancer/Stabilizer converts the audio/video signals from the VCR or video disc player to normal VHF TV signals, after they are processed. These converted signals are sent to the TV through the TV VHF connector. You may choose to view these signals on either channel 3 or 4. Set the CHANNEL switch to the channel not used for normal broadcasts in your area. FADE Switch Setting The FADE switch must be sent to IN for normal viewing or monitoring of signals from the source VCR or video disc player. Control Settings The beginning setting for all the front-panel control knobs should be 12 o'clock (the pointers straight up). Remember: signals will not pass through the VES unless the power (LOCK control) is on. The AUDIO LEVEL should be set at maximum (fully clockwise) to begin. (br/all-7/21/94)
