You can charge the 9.6 600mAH nickel-cadmium battery pack in 14 to 16
hours.  This charger uses a special (Tamiya) connector.  This makes
connecting the battery and the charger easy and safe.

RECHARGING

The battery requires a complete charge before use.  Follow the procedure
below for the first time and for each succeeding time.

1.  Connect the terminal of the charger to the battery.  Be sure of
    correct polarity.

NOTE:  If the connector seems to not mate easily, do not force it.  Check
       that you have positioned the connectors properly.

2.  Plug the charger into a standard household AC outlet.  The charging
    indicator on the module lights.

3.  Charge the battery pack for 14 to 16 hours.

NOTE:  Do not overcharge the battery.  Overcharging can reduce its useful
       life.

4.  When you finish recharging, disconnect the charger module from the AC
    outlet first.  Then disconnect the battery.  Never disconnect the 
    battery connector by pulling on the wires.

CAUTION:  ALWAYS USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN RECHARGING BATTERIES.  Use only
          the ENERCELL 9.6 volt turbo racing battery pack and this ARCHER
          9.6 volt charger.  Improperly designed chargers, overcharging,
          or charging battery packs with one or more damaged cells may
          result in the violent venting of the battery pack, causing
          personal injury or property damage.
