Your Switcher is designed for simple, trouble-free operation.  However,
if you do have problems, the following chart might save you time and
money.

                         Symptom                  Solution

                  No Picture nor Sound - Check to see that the MANUAL
                                         FADE control is set at IN
                                         position.

                                       - Check the setting of the SOURCE
                                         switch with A and B indicator.

                                       - Press FADE switch to check if the
                                         picture is faded out.

                                       - Make sure the TV works normally
                                         when connected to other input
                                         sources.

                                       - Make sure your video sources are
                                         working properly.

                                       - Check all video, audio, and power
                                         connections.

                  Sound but No Picture - Check the brightness control on
                                         your TV.

                                       - Check the volume control on your
                                         TV.

                                       - Check video connections.

                                       - Make sure your video source or
                                         processor is working properly. 

                  Picture but No Sound - Check the volume control on your
                                         TV.

                                       - Check audio connections.

                                       - Make sure your audio source or
                                         processor is working properly

                         FADE and FADE - Make sure you are operating in 
                         A/B switch do   automatic mode
                         not work        (MANUAL LED is off).

                          No Recording - Check the connections between
                                         the Switcher and recording
                                         VCR(s)

                                       - Check the settings on the
                                         recording VCR (s)

Shack store for assistance.
