The Optimus AM/FM Stereo Car Cassette Player has many practical,
easy-to-use features, and you can install it in almost any vehicle.  The
tuner's digital synthesized PLL circuitry gives you precise tuning and
drift-free reception.

Balance, tone, and volume controls let you adjust the sound for maximum
listening pleasure.

The stereo contains many features that let you operate it easily so you
can drive safely.  The auto-reverse cassette deck, memory tuning, seek and
scan tuning, and the FM optimizer circuitry all help make the stereo's
operation easy.

Caution:  Use common sense.  Do not change the stereo's operation in heavy
          traffic or during hazardous driving conditions.

Its many useful features include:

        Locking Fast-Forward/Rewind - lets you quickly move the tape
                                      either forward or backward without
                                      holding either button.

            Continuous Auto-Reverse - allows continuous play of both sides
                                      of a cassette tape.

    Advanced FM Optimizer Circuitry - automatically adjusts the tuner's
                                      stereo separation and high-frequency
                                      response to give you the best
                                      possible sound, regardless of the
                                      signal level.

     Lighted LCD Display with Clock - lets you easily see the
                                      clock/radio/cassette deck function
                                      selections.

                 Push Band Selector - lets you easily select AM or FM
                                      stations with the push of a button.

Manual/Automatic Memory Programming - lets you manually store or set the
                                      stereo to automatically store into
                                      memory 12 AM and 18 FM stations so
                                      you can quickly tune to any of the
                                      30 stored stations.

                 Memory Scan Tuning - scans all stations stored in memory,
                                      playing for 5 seconds on each
                                      station.

                        Scan Tuning - scans forward on the selected band,
                                      playing for 5 seconds on each
                                      station.

                        Seek Tuning - searches forward to the next strong
                                      station in the selected band.

Automatic Seek and Scan Sensitivity - the first time your stereo searches
                                      a band it stops only on strong local
                                      stations, and the next time it
                                      searches it also stops on weaker,
                                      distant stations.

   Built-In Noise-Suppression Choke - reduces the noise caused by your
                                      vehicle's electrical system.
