The Radio Shack ET-475 Cordless Telephone offers the latest advances in
cordless phone technology, including the following:

        Advanced Super CCT Circuitry - provides clarity comparable to
                                       corded phones, reduces background
                                       noise, and increases effective
                                       operating distance.

    Automatic Access-Protection Code - changes each time you return the
                                       handset to the cradle to help
                                       prevent other cordless phone users
                                       from using your phone line.

                             COM-LOK - guarantees that other cordless
                                       phone users cannot use your phone
                                       line when the handset is on the
                                       cradle.

The phone also offers the following special features:

                    30-Number Memory - lets you store up to 30 phone
                                       numbers, including 3 high-priority
                                       numbers that you can dial with the
                                       touch of a button.

                             Privacy - prevents the person on the other
                                       end of the phone line from hearing
                                       you as you talk to someone in the
                                       room with you.

                              Redial - gives you one-touch redial of the
                                       last number dialed.

                               Flash - sends an electronic switch-hook
                                       signal for use with special phone
                                       services such as call waiting.

Touch Tone or Pulse (Rotary) Dialing - lets you connect the phone to 
                                       touch tone  or pulse service.

           Hearing-Aid Compatibility - lets you use the phone with hearing
                                       aids that have a T (telephone)
                                       switch.

This telephone has been tested and found to comply with all applicable
UL standards.

Note:  The phone operates on standard radio frequencies, as allocated by
       the FCC.  It is possible for other radio units operating nearby on
       similar frequencies to unintentionally intercept your conversation
       or cause interference.  This possible lack of privacy can occur
       with any cordless phone.
