PersonalPager (170-6000) Receiving a Page Faxback Doc. # 7334 When the unit receives a page, the display shows an unread message alert and the selected alert function occurs. Depressing either the side or top function switch stops the alert function. If the side function switch is pressed to stop the alert tone, the display shows the incoming message, as demonstrated in the Display Features section. If the top function switch is pressed to stop the alert, the display continues to show an unread message indicator. To review the message, press the side function switch. Repeatedly depress the side function switch to review all messages stored in memory. After the oldest message has been viewed, the display reveals the stored message counter. DELETING MESSAGES Select the message you wish to delete and press both the side and top function switches. The top function annunciator illuminates, and the message to be deleted flashes. Depress the top function switch a second time to erase that message from memory. The display shows "deleted." FCC Regulations The PersonalPager might cause TV or radio interference even when it is operating properly. To determine whether the pager is causing the interference, turn off the pager. If the interference goes away, the pager is causing the interference. Try to eliminate the interference by moving the PersonalPager away from the receiver or by contacting your local Radio Shack Store for help. If you cannot eliminate the interference, the FCC requires that you stop using the PersonalPager. Modifying or tampering with the pager's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate the warranty and void your FCC authorization to operate it. (br/all-8/11/94)
