TFX 1030 (430-1202) Memory Dialing Faxback Doc. # 7456 STORING NUMBERS FOR MEMORY DIALING You can store up to 10 telephone numbers in the fax machine's memory. Note: If you make a mistake while storing a telephone number of if want to cancel the operation, press [STOP]. The fax machine returns to the standby mode. If necessary, start over again. 1. Press [FUNCTION]. 2. Press [MEMORY]. 3. Enter the location number (from 0 to 9) where you want to store the telephone number. 4. Enter the telephone number (up to 34 digits), including any pause entries or dialing mode changes. You add a pause to a phone number by pressing [REDIAL/PAUSE] while entering the phone number. You include a dialing mode change by pressing [LDT] on the dial keypad while entering the phone number. 5. Press [START/COPY]. 6. If you want to identify the stored fax number with a name that prints on the location number report (see "Printing Reports"), enter the name, up to 20 characters, as described in "Entering Your Name and Phone Number" and Step 5 of "Setting Your Phone Number and Name." 7. Press [START/COPY]. The fax machine returns to standby mode. To store more telephone numbers, repeat Steps 1-7. (/all-8/29/94)
