CLEANING THE HEADS

For continued high performance from your unit, periodically clean the
heads, pinch rollers and capstans, whenever an accumulation of dust or
red-brown oxide particles appears.

To do this, press both STOP/EJECT buttons.  Remove any cassettes still in
the compartments and switch off the power.  Carefully rub the faces of
each head, pinch roller and capstan with a cotton swab moistened with
isopropyl alcohol or special head-cleaning fluid.

CLEANING THE CABINET

Use a soft cloth moistened with plain lukewarm water and wrung dry.  Never
use benzol, benzine or other strong chemical cleaners, since these could
damage the finish of your unit.  It is important that no liquid reaches
the inside of the unit.
