The Optimus-1150 Lacquered Walnut Speaker System is a dual-woofer, two-
way, bass reflex system.  It has an excellent low-end response and yields
greater efficiency and lower distortion when compared to accoustic-
suspension or single woofer systems.  A 3-inch wide dispersion tweeter
provides higher sound pressure levels per watt, allowing you to use
lower powered receivers or to drive you existing high-powered amplifier
more conservatively.  This means that the amplifier is less likely to clip
or distort, which results in cleaner sound.

The speaker cabinet is solidly contructed and is finished in lacquered
walnut veneer.

The removable decorative grille is acoustically transparent.
