INSTALLING/REPLACING THE SUPPLIED BATTERY

Your timer requires one SR44 button cell battery (supplied) for power.

Warning:  keep batteries away from children.  Swallowing a battery can
          be fatal.

Follow these steps to install the battery.

1.  Use a coin to turn the battery compartment cover counterclockwise.
    Remove the cover.

2.  Insert the battery into the compartment with the positive (+) side
    facing up.

Notes:  Dispose of batteries promptly and properly.

        Do not burn batteries.

3.  Replace the cover and use a coin to turn it clockwise to secure it.

Notes:  When the display dims, replace the battery with a SR44 button-cell
        battery, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-009.

        After you install the battery, wait 3 seconds before you use the
        timer.
