USING THE COUNTDOWN TIMER

1.  Press and hold down both MIN and SEC to reset the display to 00M 00S
    (0 minutes, 0 seconds).

2.  To set the countdown time, repeatedly press (or press and hold down)
    MIN then SEC to set the minutes and seconds.

Note:  The maximum countdown time you can set is 99 minutes and 59
       seconds.

3.  Press START/STOP to start counting down.

Note:  You can press START/STOP to pause the countdown.  Press START/STOP
       again to resume the countdown.

       When the countdown timer reaches 00M 00S, the alarm sounds for
       about 15 seconds, then the original countdown time appears on the
       display.

When the countdown timer reaches 00M 00S, the alarm sounds for about 15
seconds, then the original countdown time appears on the display.

To silence the alarm sooner, press any button.

Using Memory/Recall

To use the same countdown time again, simply press START/STOP.  The timer
starts counting down.

Note:  If you press START/STOP to silence the alarm, you must press START/
       STOP again to start counting down from the same countdown time
       again.

USING THE COUNTUP TIMER

1.  Press and hold down both MIN and SEC to reset the display to 00M 00S
    (0 minutes, 0 seconds).

2.  Press START/STOP to start counting up.

Note:  The maximum countup time is 99 minutes and 59 seconds.  99M 59S
       appears on the display for about 2 seconds.  Then 00M 00S appears.

3.  Press START/STOP to stop counting up.

Note:  You can press START/STOP to pause the countup.  Press START/STOP
       again to resume the countup.

CORRECTING ENTRIES

Press and hold down MIN and SEC to reset the display to 00M 00S.  Then set
the correct countdown or countup time.

MOUNTING THE TIMER

The magnet on the back of the timer holds it on any metal surface, such
as a refrigerator or file cabinet.

Place the timer's magnet on a metal surface such as refrigerator or oven.

You can also clip the timer to a clipboard or your shirt pocket.

Press and hold down the upper end of the clip, attach it to your shirt or
clipboard, and release the clip.

USING THE STAND

1.  Press and hold down the upper end of the clip.

2.  Use a pencil tip to pull the small metal stand out until it fits onto
    the clip.

3.  Set the timer on a table or desk.
