The Radio Shack SSM-100 Stereo Audio Mixer with Equalizer is a
sophisticated control center, perfect for mixing sound from multiple
playback sources such as a CD player, tuner, turntable, or VCR, or from
live performances.  It is ruggedly constructed for home or professional
use.  Its wide-range volume controls let you adjust sound levels to
achieve the right mix for playing through your speaker system or for
recording.  The mixer's many features give you almost limitless sound
combinations.

Its features include:

5-Band Frequency Equalizer - Lets you tailor the sound to match your
                             surroundings or suit your preferences.

        Stereo PHONO Input - For using a turntable with a magnetic
                             cartridge.

        Stereo Line Inputs - Let you connect most high-level audio sources
                             such as a CD player, tape deck, camcorder,
                             amplifier, tuner, or VCR.

   Four 1/4-Inch MIC Jacks - Let you connect up to four microphones
   with Stereo/Mono switch   (including one for a DJ) at the same time
                             and select stereo or mono input for each one.

Bass/Treble Boost Controls - Let you adjust the bass and treble of the
                             primary microphone (MICRO 1) to improve the
                             DJ's sound.

   Low-Noise Tape Out Jack - For high-quality tape recording.

     Slide Volume Controls - For fingertip control of sound mixing and
                             fading.

           Monitor Control - Lets you monitor the line inputs using
                             headphones so you can adjust them prior to
                             mixing them in.

        Crossfader Control - Lets you quickly and smoothly switch between
                             a microphone (connected to MIC 3) or a turn-
                             table (connected to PHONO) and a microphone
                             (connected to MIC 4) or a CD player
                             (connected to CD 1), or between a tuner
                             (connected to CD 2) and a cassette tape deck
                             (connected to CD 3).
