PLAYING A CASSETTE TAPE

To play a cassette in your recorder, follow these instructions.

1.  After you insert a cassette, press PLAY.

2.  Adjust the VOLUME for desired sound level.

    To fast-forward, press and hold CUE/FAST-F.

    To rapidly rewind the tape, press and hold down REVIEW/REWIND.

    Press PAUSE to momentarily stop the tape.  to continue recording or
    playback, press PAUSE again.

    To listen to a cassette in privacy, plug the earphone into the EAR
    jack.  The built-in speaker automatically disconnects.

3.  Press STOP/EJECT to stop the tape.

NOTES:  The auto-stop feature automatically stops tape movement and turns
        off the recorder when the tape ends.

        Do not leave PAUSE down for an extended period of time.  It drains
        the batteries.

WARNING:  Do not listen at extremely high volume levels, especially when
          using the earphone.  Extended high-volume listening can lead to
          permanent hearing loss.
