Safehouse Alarm (490-0470) Features Faxback Doc. # 8102 Four Burglar Alarm Trigger Loops - 3 instant and 1 delayed alarm loops are available with each loop having 2 totally separate circuits. 2 are N.O. and N.C. loops. These loops operate independently of each other. It's as if you had 4 separate alarm systems. Fire Alarm Loop - for 4-wire smoke detectors and 2-wire heat sensors. Momentary Contact - Panic/Tamper Loop - This additional loop can be connected to N.O. switches or sensing devices and will activate the alarm center anytime. This is ideal for panic/tamper switches or 24 hour protection of property inside the house. When this loop is violated, the entire alarm center is automatically armed. Battery Back-Up - The batteries will give you up to 3.5 hours of armed operation or 2 complete alarm cycles (5 minutes each), in case of a power failure. The system requires rechargeable gel batteries, which are automatically recharged inside the panel. Automatic Alarm Reset - The alarm center will activate for 5 minutes, when a loop is violated, and then reset for future operation. The alarm center will reset in that case as long as at least one of the remaining loops is not violated. Each burglar loop works independently of the others and will cause the alarm to sound if violated and will reset if the violation has been removed. Note - the fire alarm must be manually reset, it will continue to sound until this is done. Remote Arm/Disarm Connections - Up to 10 remote switches, for arming and disarming the alarm center, can be connected anywhere you like. Entry Exit Delay - The entry and exit delay times are independently adjustable (0 to 45 seconds). This will give you time to get out of the premises after arming the alarm center and time to disarm it after entering the premises. Pre-Alarm Circuit - This circuit will activate a buzzer during the entry delay time, to remind you to disarm the alarm center. Use of this circuit is optional. It will not work if the delay time is set to 0. Day Loop Sounder - uses the same sounder as the pre-alarm but acts as an announcer for opening doors, etc. on the day instant loop or zone. Sounds as long as door is open. External Alarm Output - Powers 12V DC alarm devices (such as a bell, siren or strobe light), rated up to 2 amp total. Two individual outputs, one for burglar and one for fire. Battery Test Led - Indicates the condition of the batteries, when the battery test button is pressed. Loop Led - This indicator lights when all loops are intact. There are connections for remote loop leds for use with remote arm/disarm installations. This led blinks during the entry delay time, as a visual reminder to disarm the alarm center. Arm Led - This led lights when the alarm center is armed and blinks when the alarm has been triggered. It will continue to blink until you disarm the alarm center. This warns you there has been an alarm condition while you where away. An alarm led can be included in a remote arm/disarm installation, also. AC Power Led - Lights when AC power is present. Auxiliary Output - Provides a constant 12V Dc output to power Auxiliary devices. Dry Contact Terminals - An internal N.O. relay, connected to these terminals, will close when the alarm center activates. This relay can be used as a switch to turn on a device that has its own power supply. Fire circuit - for wired smoke detectors and heat sensors. Uses an End of Line Module to supervise the circuits for integrity, power and alarm condition. Can be manually reset at the panel only. Has separate trouble sounder and dialer outputs.
