AM/FM STEREO CAR CASSETTE PLAYER

Your Realistic AM/FM Stereo Car Cassette Player is a complete automotive
sound component engineered to meet Radio Shack's strict requirements for
excellence.

The radio is equipped with quartz-locked synthesized frequency control
with phase-locked-loop (PLL) tuning to assure accurate tuning.

Fader, balance, and tone controls let you adjust the sound for maximum
listening pleasure.

Your stereo also includes the following features:

Advanced FM Optimizer Circuitry-automatically adjusts to give you the
best possible sound, regardless of the signal level.

Large LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)-shows the clock, station frequency,
and tape direction.

Auto-Reverse-lets you play both sides of a cassette tape without tuning
over the cassette.

Memory Tuning-lets you quickly tune to your favorite stations (12 AM and
18 FM).

Automatic Memory Storage-lets you quickly enter stations into memory.

Automatic Memory Scan-lets you scan all stations stored in a memory group.

Scan Tuning-scans the selected band for stations with a strong signal.

Seek Tuning-tunes to the next higher station.

DX Mode for Seek/Scan-lets you search for weak or distance stations during
seek and scan tuning.  The stereo automatically enters the DX mode if there
are no strong-signal stations in the area.

Last-Station Tuning-automatically tunes to the last selected station in a
band each time you change the band.

Line-Out Jacks-make it easy to connect an equalizer/booster.

CD Input Jack-lets you connect a portable compact disc (CD) player directly
to your stereo so you can play CDs through your system's speakers.

For your permanent records, we recommend you record the serial number of
your stereo in the space provided.  The serial number is on the top of the
stereo.
