Your Optimus STAV-3300 Digital Synthesized A/V Surround Receiver is the
perfect control center for your audio/video system.  It combines 100 watts-
per-channel of clean power with modern styling and provides connections
for two tape decks, two VCRs, a turntable, a CD player, and two other
audio/video sources. such as laser disc players or television tuners.

Your receiver also has four special sound options.  Dolby Pro-Logic
Surround Sound delivers movie theater sound for audio/video programs
(especially those encoded with Dolby Surround Sound signals).  Dolby
3CH Logic provides a wider sound field than ordinary playback, Studio
Effect simulates the ambience of a recording studio, adding extra
richness to your music.  Simulated Sound Effect provides special sound
expansion for a large, concert hall sound.

Additional features include:

Precisely tunes to AM and FM stations.

Allows you to directly enter the frequency for a stations.

Searches for the next available station.

Let you store and recall the frequencies for up to 30 radio stations.

Lets you group the memory stations into five program types and scan the
memory stations in one program type only.

Saves your favorite tone control settings for rapid recall.

Lets you listen to the actual recording as you record, if your tape
deck has a tape-monitoring features.  Also lets you listen to a tape
playing in the deck connected to TAPE 2 while the deck you connected
to TAPE 1 continues to record the program you selected.

Turn off the receiver to help prevent damage if a power surge or short
circuit occurs.

Lets you use a single remote control for the receiver and other
compatible components connected to the receiver.
