7-Band Car Equalizer (120-1973) Features Faxback Doc. # 8598 The Optimus Stereo 7-Band Frequency Equalizer lets you customize the sound from your vehicle's sound system to suit your vehicle's acoustics and your personal listening preferences. Features include: Bypass - makes it easy to compare the sound with equalization to the sound without equalization. CD Input Jack - lets you easily connect a portable CD player (or any other portable unit with a headphones jack) to the equalizer. Ultra-Slim Design - makes it easy to mount the equalizer under the dash or seat. 7-Band Equalizer with Slide Controls - gives you control of the basic frequency ranges of music. The slide controls provide an instant visual representation of the shape you give the sound. Built-In Fader - lets you easily control the balance between front and rear speakers if you have a four-speaker system. Two Types of Inputs - Let you use the equalizer with a radio or tape player that has line output jacks or that has only standard speaker outputs. Note: The equalizer does not have a built-in amplifier. Therefore, if your radio/cassette player does not have both line in and line out jacks for connection to the equalizer, you must install front and rear amplifiers. Warning: If the connectors on your vehicle or radio/cassette player are not compatible with the equalizer's connectors, contact your local Radio Shack store. Radio Shack stores sell adapter harnesses for many vehicles. Do not modify the equalizer's wiring. If you cut any wire, you cannot obtain a refund or exchange on this product. Radio Shack will provide warranty service if you cut a wire and find the product is defective. (br/all-07/11/94)
