Your Optimus Model 54 Four-Head Hi-Fi Stereo VHS VCR offers some of the 
most advanced features available in home video cassette recorders.   
The VCR's FS (Frequency Synthesizer) tuning ensures extremely accurate 
tuning of up to 68 VHF and UHF channels and up to 113 cable channels. The 
full-function remote control and on-screen programming make the VCR easy 
to use.

On-Screen Display with English and
Spanish Language Menus - Gives you complete control of all functions, 
                         programs, and displays in either English or 
                         Spanish.

Memory Sentinel - Protects clock settings, tuner programming information, 
                  and timer memory settings for up to 1 hour if power is 
                  disconnected.

Hi-Fi Audio Recording - Lets you make superior quality audio recordings 
                        with or without video recordings. 

Multichannel Television Sound (MTS) - Decodes stereo broadcasts for 
                                      recording or listening.  Your VCR 
                                      can also receive and record a second
                                      audio program (SAP) that accompanies
                                      some MTS broadcasts.

Four Double-Azimuth Video Heads - Provides superior picture quality and 
                                  special effects, compared to standard

Automatic Playback, Rewind, and Eject - Makes playback easy by

1-year, 8-Event, Digital Timer - Lets you program the VCR to make up to 8 
                                 unattended recordings within a 1-year 
                                 period, including daily and weekly 
                                 recordings.

On-Screen Programming - Provides helpful instructions on the TV screen for 
                        setting the clock and program times.

Quick Set Recording - Lets you start a recording immediately or within the 
                      next 24 hours, which automatically stops recording 
                      after the length of time you select.

Variable-Speed Slow Motion - Lets you vary the playback speed from 1/6 to 
                             1/32 of the normal playback speed.  

Frame Advance - Lets you advance through a video tape one frame at a time.

Tuner Memory Programming - Automatically stores all the active channels in
                           your area into memory with the touch of a button.

VISS Function - Lets you mark sections of tape so you can quickly and 
                easily return to the section you want to watch.
