Enter Program Mode

Press PWR to turn the phone off, then on again.

Phone Responds:   WHICH NAM?

Press 1 then SEL to select the first nam.

Phone Responds:   SYST. ID   00000	

Enter the 5 digit Home or System ID provided by your cellular 
carrier then press SEL.

Phone Responds:   No. 111 111 0111

Enter the cellular phone number then SEL

Phone Responds:   GRP ID MARK? 00

Enter the Group ID provided by your carrier then press SEL.

Phone Responds:   SAVE NAM?

Press SEL to continue to program the remainder of the nam block.

Phone Responds:   OPR. NO?

Enter the cellular operator number (normally *611) then SEL.

Phone Responds:   NUM?

Enter the number that you want to come up at power up then SEL.
(NOTE: does not have to be changed from customer's number)

Phone Responds:   NAM ID CODE - 1 -

Enter, using the letters on the keypad, an abbreviation for your city, 
then press SEL...(ie...DAL for Dallas) 

Note:  Each letter must be followed by the # sign

Phone Responds:   EMERGENCY NO ?

Enter the emergency number for your area, normally 911, then press SEL.

Phone Responds:   INTERNAT CODE?

Enter the outgoing international calls code, normally 011, then press SEL

Phone Responds:   O/LOAD CLASS 00

Enter the Overload class mark for your area, normally 0 and the last digit
of the phone number, then press SEL.

Phone Responds:   EXP   0  ?

Enter the Extended Addressing Mode to be used.  (0 indicates optional
addressing, 1 is Permanent Extended Addressing) Then press SEL.

Phone Responds:   IPCH?  0000

Enter the Initial Home Paging Channel for your area then Press SEL.  (0333
for A channel, 0334 for B channel)

Phone Responds:   PREF ICC  0000

Enter the Preferred Initial Control Channel then SEL. (This setting should
be the same as IPCH for single NAM phones. For Dual NAM phones, IPCH should
be set to the NAM you want at power up.)

Phone Responds:   NON-PREF ICC 0000

Enter the NON-Preferred ICC then SEL. (This should be the opposite of the
Preferred ICC (ie. 0334 for Pref. ICC, 0333 for non-pref. ICC))

Phone Responds:   Save Nam?

Press SEL to examine the data you have just entered. You may scroll 
through the entries by pressing SEL or CLR until the above message is
displayed again.

Press SEND to save the information for this N.A.M. block. When this is done
the data saved in that N.A.M. block cannot be altered.

Press END to select another N.A.M. without saving the data.

Phone Responds:   WHICH NAM ?

A new N.A.M. block may be selected by entering a different number and the
above process is repeated.

Alternatively, N.A.M. Programming Mode can be ended by pressing END and the
phone will turn off.
