The TANDYFAX 1020 is a compact electronic facsimile (fax) machine that uses
advanced telephone and computerized image-sending technology to send copies
of your important documents anywhere in the world.  The microprocessor
-controlled functions of your new fax machine make it easy to install and
use.

The fax machine includes these advanced features:

Fully Compatible with CCITT Group 2 and Group 3 Fax - Lets you send and
                                                      receive documents
                                                      with most fax 
                                                      equipment.

Memory Dialing - Lets you program up to 20 phone numbers into memory for
                 quick dialing.

Built-In Telephone - Lets you make regular phone calls or talk to the
                     operator of the other fax machine before or after
                     you send a document.

Automatic Redial - Lets you speed-dial the last number you dialed, by
                   pressing only one button.

Automatic Reception Mode - Lets you set the fax machine to receive 
                           documents automatically.

Logo - Appears at the top of each page you send so that the receiving
       party can quickly identify you.

Resolution Switch - Lets you adjust the resolution so that you can send
                    the best possible copy.

Report and List Printouts - Gives you a record of documents you send and
                            receive, and lets you check memory numbers 
                            and fax operation settings.

Polling Function - Lets you retrieve documents from an unattended fax
                   machine.

Copy Function - Lets you print out a copy of the documents you want to 
                send so that you can ensure the proper transmission 
                settings.

Selectable Touch - Tone or Pulse (Rotary) Dialing-lets you use the fax
                   machine with either type of dialing system.

White-Space Compression - Reduces transmission time by skipping white
                          portion of your document when sending it to
                          a fax machine that also has this feature.

Hearing Aid Compatible - Lets you use the telephone with hearing aids that
                         have a T (telephone) switch.
