The Radio Shack CT-1055/CT-1050 Cellular Telephone combines advanced
technology and design simplicity in a unique cellular phone.  Even though
the phone is compact and portable, it provides a full range of cellular
phone features and is extremely simple to use.

The CT-1055 transportable cellular phone consists of the transceiver, a
handset, antenna, battery, vehicle battery adapter, AC charger, cigarette-
lighter power adapter, and carrying bag.  The CT-1050 transmobile cellular
phone does not include the battery and charger, making it a good choice for
someone who wants a phone to use in one, or several vehicles.

For portable use, everything fits neatly into the carrying bag, so you can
take the phone with you whether you go.

The phones include these features:

Multiple-Telephone Number Operation-lets you subscribe to up to four
cellular phone services in different cities and have a local telephone
number for each city.  This helps you save on roaming charges.

Any Key Answer - Lets you press any key to answer an incoming call.

Digital Display - Shows the number you are dialing and other information,
                  such as the cumulative-call and last-call length, your 
                  telephone number, and the redial number.

Status Indicators - Show the phone's operating status and other information,
                    such as the signal strength and roaming and incoming call
                    status.

MIC and EXT SPKR Jacks - Lets you connect a microphone and optional external
                         speaker for handsfree operation.

Memory Name Tag - Lets you enter a name (of up to 8 characters) to identify
                  each telephone number you store in a memory location.

Alpha Search - Helps you find a telephone number stored in memory by
               searching for the characters at the beginning of the name you
               stored with the number.

Alarm - Alerts you after a preset time, so you can remind yourself to make
        a call, or limit your call lengths.

Memory Dialing - Lets you store up to fifty telephone numbers (each
                 containing up to 32 digits-16 digits if an 8 character name
                 tag is used) and dial a number using a two-digit code or the
                 name you stored with the number.

Memory Scan - Lets you scan the memory locations for a number or a name.

Last Number Redial - Lets you redial the last number dialed by pressing a
                     single button.

Data Transmission Capability - With an optional kit, let you connect a fax
                               machine or computer modem to your phone.

Last- Call and Cumulative-Call Timers-keep continuers records of phone use
      since you last reset the timers.

Electronic Lock - Prevents unauthorized access to your telephone while 
                  still allowing calls to the emergency number 911.

Scratch Pad Memory - Lets you temporarily store a number on your phone's
                     display during a call.  The number stays on the
                     display until you clear it.

Backlit Controls - Provides easy viewing and operation at night.

Tone Service Compatibility - Lets you communicate with special touch-tone
                             services, such as bank-by-phone or voice mail.
