When the phone is locked, you can still call 911 (*911 in some areas) and whenever number you store in MEMORY Locations 46,47 and 48. You can also receive calls. Note: You cannot store a telephone number when the phone is locked. Locking/Unlocking the Phone Follow these steps to lock or unlock the phone. 1. Press MENU 0. LOCKCODE? appears on the display. 2. Enter the 4-digit lock code you selected when you brought the phone. The lock code is not display when you enter it. 3. Press STO. LOCKED appears on the display when you lock the phone; UNLOCKED appears when you unlock it. Note: If the lock code you enter is not correct, CODE ERROR appears on the display. Repeat Steps 1-3 using the correct lock code. MAKING A CALL FROM A LOCKED PHONE To make a call from a locked phone, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the phone. 2. Dial 911 (*911) and press SEND. Or, press RCL 4 8 SEND to dial the number stored in Memory Location 48. Note: If you try to make a call when the phone is locked, LOCKED appears on the display. CHANGING THE LOCK CODE Follow these steps to change your phone's 4-digit lock code. Notes: * The 4-digit code can contain only numbers; only characters (*and 8#) are not allowed. * Only a Radio Shack service facility can change your phone's 5-digit security code. 1. Press MENU 11. SECURITY? appears on the display. 2. Enter the 5-digit security code. If the security code you enter is not correct, CODE ERROR appears on the display, When you have given the correct security code, NEW LOCK CODE? appears on the display. 3.
