Replace all batteries if necessary. * Check that the security code configuration is correct. * Check the fuse. PROBLEM: When you disarm the system, it sometimes chirps three times. CAUSE/REMEDY: Set the HIGH/MED/LOW switch to LOW. If the false alarms persist, they might be caused by any the following: * Strong gusts of wind, especially if a window is slightly open. * Your vehicle doors, roof, firewall, or trunk, bulkhead may be loose or especially flexible. * Your car is parked at the side of a highway. Wind caused by passing trucks or buses can produce false alarms. our alarm system works best when you park on residential streets, business areas, and parking lots. The alarm system might cause TV or radio interference even when it is operating properly. To determine whether your alarm system is causing the interference, turn off the system. If the interference goes away, your alarm system is causing the interference. Try to eliminate the interference by: * Moving the alarm system away from the receiver * Contacting your local Radio Shack store for help If you cannot eliminate the interference, the FCC requires that you stop using your alarm system.
