When the phone is locked, you can still call 911 (*911 in some areas) and the number stored in Memory Location "48". You can also receive calls. You cannot store a telephone number when the phone is locked. LOCKING/UNLOCKING THE PHONE Follow these steps to lock or unlock the phone. 1. Press "MENU 0". "LOCKCODE ?" appears on the display. 2. Enter the 4-digit lock code you selected when you both the phone. The lock code is not displayed when you enter it. 3. Press "STO". "LOCKED" appears on the display when you lock the phone; "UNLOCKED" appears on the display when you unlock the phone. NOTE: If the lock code you enter is not correct, "CODE ERROR?" appears on the display. Repeat Steps 1-3. MAKING A CALL FROM A LOCKED PHONE To make a call from a locked phone, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the phone. 2. Dial 911 (*911) and press "SEND". Or, press "RCL 4 8 SEND" to dial the number stored in Memory Location "48".
