TandyFax 1500 (430-1215) Setup Faxback Doc. # 8912 SETTING THE DATE AND TIME The fax machine transmits the exact date and time, your station ID, and your logo on every fax you send. It also stores the date and time for all faxes in the transmission journal. 1. Press # then 1. 2. Use the keypad to enter the month (two-digits), day (two digits), year (four digits), and time. Press * for a.m. or press # for p.m. For example: to enter Sept. 20, 1991 3:00 p.m. press 0 9 2 0 1 9 9 1 0 3 0 0 #. If you make a mistake Press as needed to move the cursor to the incorrect digit. Then, enter the correct digit. 3. Press START/ENTER. SETTING YOUR STATION ID The station ID prints at the top of every page you send. Plus, when you send a document to a fax machine that also has a station ID display, your ID appears on that machine's display. When you receive documents, the sender's station ID (if the sender has a station ID) appears on your display. We suggest you use your fax machine's telephone number as your ID, although you can use any number up to 20 digits. To set your Station ID, follow these steps 1. Press # then 2. 2. Use the keypad to enter the desired ID. Press DIAL TEL/SPACE to enter a space. Example: 8 1 7 DIAL TEL/SPACE 5 5 5 DIAL TEL/SPACE 2 6 3 8 If you make a mistake press as needed to move the cursor to the incorrect digit. Then, enter the correct digit.
