Audio Mixer with Echo (Rack Mount Type)

This SSM-1000 Mixer should require very little maintenance.  If you do have
problems, refer to the troubleshooting chart below for possible solutions.

Caution:  Only a qualified service technician should perform repairs on
          this SSM-1000 Mixer!

Nothing works              Check the AC power connection.  Make sure the AC
                           outlet is "live."
                           Check the power connections to the rest of the
                           system (amplifier/receiver, etc.)

No signal from             Check the control setting.
an audio input             Check the connections between the mixer and the
source                     input source.

Hum from                   Connect the turntable's ground wire (usually
PHONO                      black or green) to the GND screw on the back of
                           the mixer.

Hum from other             Make sure there are no low level inputs
inputs                     connected to the LINE 1 and 2 jacks.

Feedback                   Move the microphone farther away from the output
"squeals"                  speakers or use a directional microphone.
