NAM Programming Instructions

STEP 1 (Enter Program Mode):

Type:   *17*2001*SECUR*       

STEP 2 (Programming the Primary NAM information):

The phone will now inform you of the parameter it wants you to enter on the
top line with the previously programmed parameter (or factory default) on
second line. The starred (*) lines require information that MUST be
supplied by the cellular carrier.

*Phone: HO- Id     Type:  <SEL>, then 5-digit Home System ID then <SEL>
 Phone: ACCESS     Type:  <SEL>, then 1 then <SEL>
 Phone: LOCAL      Type:  <SEL>, then 1 then <SEL>
*Phone: PhonE n    Type:  <SEL>, then 10-digit phone number then <SEL>
 Phone: CLASS      Type:  <SEL>, then 1 0 then <SEL> (NOTE: CT-301 only)
*Phone: PAGE ch    Type:  <SEL>, then 4-digit Paging Channel then <SEL>
                                      (Note: Channel A is: 0333,
                                             Channel B is: 0334)

 Phone: O-LOAd    Type:  <SEL>, then 0 and last digit of phone # then <SEL>
*Phone: GrouP     Type:  <SEL>, then 2-digit Group ID then <SEL>
 Phone: SEC        Type:  <SEL>, then 5-digit Security Code then <SEL>

 Phone: Returns to normal Power-On mode. 

 The phone should now be correctly programmed. It is important to remember 
 that it will take a cellular carrier several hours to activate a cellular 
 phone number.
