	Josephine-Portrait of an Assassin is a new Windows95 action game
        from MediaAge Software.  

       "When an obscure branch of the CIA hires a convicted killer to do 
        their dirty work for them, she gets caught up in a maelstrom of 
        intrigue and power. You control the not-so-innocent heroine as she
        works through the objectives set for her by her superiors.
        When the killings she performs move from dictators and anti-American
        terrorists to prominent businessmen and politicians, she begins to 
        realize she is helping an organization bent on national domination.
        And she is the only one who can stand in there way."

WARNING:
This version of the Demo does not contain the Directx or WinG drivers
that it needs to run.  If you don't have these drivers installed on

TO INSTALL
Just run the self extracting .exe and you'll be ready to go.


TO START
Double-click on the Josephin.exe file in the Josephin directory on 
your hard drive.

OVERVIEW OF THE DEMO
In this demo mission Josephine must infiltrate the facilities of an underground
organization and disable their security system.  Once this is done she must
find the exit (her point of entry was destroyed just after she entered) and 
get out.  Killing bad guys along the way is optional but highly advised in 
order to stay alive.

Other missions in the game involve weapons retrieval, assassination of protected
witnesses, presidential security and anti-terrorist activities to name a few.

PERFORMANCE ISSUES

Slower machines may have difficulty running the demo at an acceptable speed.
There are two things you can do to help prevent this:
	1) You can turn the floor textures off by pressing F1
	2) You can decrease your turning resolution by hitting \
           F6.  This toggles you through three different settings.
           Try them and pick the one that works best for you.
