The asteroid mines of the galaxy have become a valuable resource in the quest 
for Galactic Domination. Without a viable source of raw ores, the 
Solar Confederation Syndicate cannot survive in the titanic battle against the 
forces of the Outer Rim. There have been reports of parasitic expeditions by
these creatures into the inner asteroid mines of the S.C.S. Intelligence 
reports are vague at present, however, updated information will be provided 
during your missions to follow. Speculation indicates that the forces of the 
Outer Rim are massing a fleet of awesome power. Because the Outer Rim of the 
Galaxy is not rich in anything but dirty ice and rock, it is probable that the 
people of the S.C.S. will suffer by the enemy whose quest is for a destiny of 
darkness for the Galaxy.
